Our Name

Our name - AliB & Me - is a tribute to our sister Alice who was stillborn but has always been in my heart. I often wonder what she would have done with her life ~ so now she can ride along with us as we make this journey. When I feel that little nudge to move in a better direction, I'll think of her and say thanks!

The bluebird in the logo represents my mom. She would have LOVED this adventure. My CB name on the ranch was Bluebird so she was always finding little treasures that had bluebirds on them. Her last gift to me was a bluebird painting she had finished for Christmas. She helped me is so many ways and I'll always be thankful for the efforts she put in on my behalf. Her shop apron will hang close by and I'll remember her love of herbs and natural methods. I'll always be grateful for her quest in finding a natural salve that made all the difference for my son, Cy. To say she was inspired would be an understatement. She was a firm believer in Raspberry and Peppermint Leaf Teas for all things tummy related. I don't think she was ever without them.

Thanks to amazing encouragement from friends/family, I took my love of plants, a really great tasting tea, and ventured into sending out a few samples of our signature blends. Requests for a website to order was the feedback so I took that as a sign - there is more to this story.

So here we are. It's simple, it's humble, and it's a joy to connect with others who love to brew a mug of flavor to enjoy anytime of the day. Grab a good book or take the time to just sit on your porch and balance your thoughts. That's probably where you'll find me every chance I can.
